Manufacturing Processes: Net Shape

First-year industrial engineering student Nicole Liddicoat uses a hammer to release a metal casting on the first day of class in IME 141 (Manufacturing Processes: Net Shape). One of 38 College of Engineering courses to be taught in person during fall quarter, IME 141 teaches students the properties of molding materials and methods of casting along with an introduction to rapid prototyping.
