On-Campus Housing

Since students who live on campus have greater academic success, Cal Poly requires all first-year students to live on campus. First-year students live in residence halls near the core of campus: Yosemite and Sierra MadreSouth Mountain HallsNorth Mountain Halls, and yakʔitʸutʸu. Continuing students can live in the Cerro Vista or Poly Canyon Village apartments. These furnished four-, five-, and six-person apartments are safe and convenient with amenities and 24/7 staff support. Although not required, on-campus housing is also available to transfer and graduate students in Cerro Vista and Poly Canyon Village.

For additional information and housing options, check out the University Housing website.
