Where’s Herbie?

Four students around robot
When students returned to campus this fall, they were greeted by Herbie, an autonomous robot created by CPE/CSSE Professor John Seng (second from left). Helping build Herbie’s social media campaign and voice recognition are (left to right) seniors Daniel Jones, Amanda Krysl and Angel Bonilla. Currently Herbie strolls around Building 14, offering Halloween candy, but Seng hopes to expand his path while adding autonomous vehicle hardware and software. You can follow Herbie on Instagram @Hey_Herbie.
