This year’s CENG SURP applications are now available.
SURP is an opportunity for undergraduate students to engage in hands-on research with a College of Engineering faculty member over the summer. This eight-week program comes with a $3500 stipend per student, which is paid as one lump sum toward the end of the program through the financial aid office.
Note that there are some projects supported by external grants, where students will not receive a stipend, but rather be paid hourly according to the grant’s terms.
This summer, the college will be running over 60 projects with over 80 students (some projects take two students). You can apply for up to three projects via MustangJOBS (each project has its own job posting), but can only be awarded one project.
