Studies indicate that approximately 17% of college students in California identify as LGBTQ+, which relates to more than 1,000 CENG students.  Students who identify as LGBTQ+ are more likely than a general student population to experience bullying and harassment during college.

Please consider attending one of the workshops below in order to better understand how to build an inclusive and supportive environment for our LGBTQ+ students, including our newest student group, oSTEM which provides a welcoming community for our LGBTQ+ students.

Join us this fall for a series of free Safe Zone Ally Training Workshops, interactive training sessions that seek to raise awareness for LGBTQ+ inclusion in STEM and create a visible network of allies to foster a supportive atmosphere for LGBTQ+ individuals.
