Amy Ru, an undergraduate student crafting her own interdisciplinary curriculum within Business Administration, Computer Science and Interaction Design, published her first international research publication titled “Hackathons for Workforce Development: A Case Study,” in the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Digital Library. Amy also had the opportunity to present it at ICGJ (International Conference on Game Jams, Hackathons, and Game Creation Events).
“This was an extensive research project I worked on over three months with Professor Foaad Khosmood (Assistant Professor for Computer Science and a Forbes Professor of Computer Engineering). I’m really proud of my work,” Ru said.
