Nidhi Raviprasad, computer science, received the Outstanding Women in Engineering Award, recognizing students who go above and beyond both in their education and in the industry. Known for her technical skill, leadership and encouraging presence, Raviprasad has made an impact across Cal Poly’s engineering community. A faculty member described her as not only talented and technically adept but also as an incredibly positive and uplifting classmate and team member.
Raviprasad has served as president of Women Involved in Software and Hardware for two consecutive years and has held multiple officer roles in the Society of Women Engineers, including treasurer and scholarship director, all while maintaining a nearly perfect GPA. She has also gained valuable industry experience through internships with Atlassian and Aethon Labs, building on a record of excellence that reaches well beyond campus.
