The Office of University Diversity and Inclusion (OUDI), in conjunction with Student Affairs and The Office of the Provost, is hoping to hire three faculty fellows for the 2025-26 academic year. Since we are currently waiting on approval of funds from the CSU (state funding specifically dedicated to the Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander [AANHPI] population, as well as other underrepresented student populations), the call for applications for these positions will likely occur over the summer.

As such, this interest form is being circulated to allow us to contact interested parties directly over the summer. The three positions (three course releases per position) will be:

  1. Fellow Position #1: this position will focus on supporting the emerging APIDA center, its coordinator in SDAB, and programming and curriculum related to the AANHPI population.
  2. Fellow Position #2: this position will focus on the AANHPI Immigrant populations, as well as supporting HSI efforts, and our Latinx/e students in both the Dream Center and La Casa
  3. Fellow Position #3: this position will focus on supporting mixed race AANHPI populations and additionally will support the Black Academic Excellence Center

Please reach out to Jennifer Teramoto Pedrotti at jpedrott@calpoly.edu with any questions and click the link above if you are interested in being contacted over the summer when the Call for Applications goes out.
