Cal Poly’s Tikkun Olam Makers Club is excited to invite you to the upcoming 3D printing workshop in honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, happening this Thursday, May 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. in 192-130. The event is completely free and open to everyone!
The workshop is all about introducing people to 3D printing and showing how it can be used to create assistive technology for individuals with disabilities, special needs and more. We’re teaming up with some incredible groups on campus like EMPOWER, a student organization that builds custom devices for hospitals and local community members, as well as the Disability Resource Center (DRC) at Cal Poly.
