CENG Call for Award Nominations 2025

It is award nomination season for the College of Engineering. This year, four of the college awards are aligned with the College’s four Strategic Priority areas. Below is a link to the nomination forms for each College of Engineering award. You can submit multiple nominations for the same award by completing one form per nominee. Full award criteria can be found when you click on each link. Self-nominations are welcome. Please complete your nominations by May 14.

Awards for Faculty

Outstanding Teaching in the College of Engineering

CENG Stategic Priority: Excelling in Teaching and Scholarship   

This award will recognize and honor the meritorious efforts of instructors in the College of Engineering who provide exemplary service to students through teaching.

Awards for Faculty or Staff

College of Engineering Inclusive Excellence Award

CENG Strategic Priority: Fostering a Welcoming, Supportive, Just, Equitable, Inclusive and Diverse Environment. 

This award gives you the opportunity to identify faculty or staff in our college that have a demonstrated record of creating, implementing or serving programs which support an inclusive culture within the College.

College of Engineering Professional Growth Advocate Award

CENG Strategic Priority: Empowering Personal and Professional Development 

This award is given to a faculty or staff member who has worked to expand faculty, staff and/or student professional opportunities.

College of Engineering Change Agent Award

CENG Strategic Priority: Ensuring Equitable Student Success 

This award is given to a faculty member whose research can be demonstrated to have had a profound positive impact on society and/or to a faculty or staff member who has identified systemic challenges to student success and has designed and/or implemented strategies to mitigate these challenges with a focus on achieving equitable outcomes for all students.

Don and Paula Heye Annual Faculty/Staff Safety Award

This award is intended to recognize faculty or staff efforts that engage and enhance safety in all aspects (classroom, club activities, laboratory, research, and project work) of student education.

Awards for Students

Don and Paula Heye Annual Student Safety Award

This award is intended to recognize student efforts that engage and enhance safety in all aspects (classroom, club activities, laboratory, research, and project work) of student education and activities, inside and outside of class.
