We’re thrilled to announce that the Viasat: Space for Good Challenge is officially open.

This competition is a fantastic opportunity for students to use space technology to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges while winning up to $15,000 to support their education. Here are the key details: 

  • Competition opens: Jan. 8
  • Phase 1 brief release: Jan. 27 
  • Idea submission deadline: March 2

  • San Diego Trip: The top 8 students will be flown to San Diego, California, for the Viasat: Space for Good finals. 
  • Big Rewards: Up to $15,000 in prize money to support their educational and career goals.
