Griffiss Institute and Blue Clarity are excited to introduce a series of hackathons focusing on Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, specifically designed for First Responders. This is a unique opportunity for innovators, students and tech enthusiasts to make a real impact on public safety and event management.
Hackathon Challenge: The first hackathon in this series challenges participants to revolutionize the coordination of large-scale public events. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies like the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) and its civilian counterpart (CivTAK), your solutions should empower event organizers, security teams, public services, and volunteers. We are looking for technology-driven approaches that enhance every aspect of event management, from planning and execution to crisis response, with a community-based and people-centered approach.
How to Enter: Submit a short paper and a video demonstration showcasing your solution by Nov. 4.
How to Win: Five finalists will be selected to participate in a virtual pitch event on Nov. 14, where one winner will be awarded a $20,000 prize.
