Division of Research Internal Funding Opportunities FY 2025-26

Chris Heylman, an assistant professor in the Biomedical Engineering Department, is conducting research on "tissue chip" technology that could expedite drug testing for cancer.

The Division of Research is excited to announce two internal funding opportunities for FY 2025-26: the Research, Scholarly & Creative Activities (RSCA) grant program and the Teacher-Scholar Mini Grant (TSMG) program. Additional details and the program Requests for Proposals (RFPs) can be found on the links below:

  • RSCA due Thursday, Dec. 12
  • TSMG (including a new Proposal Development Track) due Tuesday, April 1, 2025

We invite you to attend the Internal Funding Opportunities Information Session on Monday, September 30 at 11:10 a.m. on Zoom to discuss both opportunities, answer questions, and help you find the right funding mechanism for your project.

Additionally, for faculty interested in applying to these programs, we will be holding a Proposal Develpoment Workshop on Friday, October 4 from 9:10-11:00am in Building 181, room 102. Receive tips and suggestions for drafting competitive proposals to these programs. Attendees should bring their laptop and be prepared to work on a proposal.
