We invite you to participate in the 2024 Southern California Robotics Symposium, Sept. 19-20, 2024, at the University of California, Riverside. This year’s theme, Robotics and AI for humans – empowerment through innovation, aims to highlight how cutting-edge advancements can enhance human capabilities, improve quality of life and drive societal progress. The symposium will include oral and poster presentations, invited talks, workshops and robot demonstrations. 

Submission Types:

1. Extended Abstracts:

Content: Describe recent results or directions; summaries of recent publications are welcome

Format: Accepted contributions will be presented as posters, with selected talks

Submission Length: 2 pages + 1 page for references

2. Robot Demonstrations:

Showcase: Innovative robots in action

Format: Accepted contributions will be provided with a table and power strip for demonstrations, enabling attendees to circulate and engage with all the exhibits.

Submission Length: 2 pages

3. Workshop Proposals:

Topics: Cutting-edge themes in robotics and AI

Format: Engaging and interactive, 1.5-2 hours, 20-40 people per workshop

Length: 2 pages

Please include a list of the organizers with email and affiliation, a short description of the intended topic, along with details about the requirements of your workshop, including power strips, projectors, etc. that you plan to use 

All submission due by Aug. 24, 2024.
