Cal Poly’s Concrete Canoe team is preparing to compete for their eighth title at the ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition in June.

This year’s championship will be held at Brigham Young University from June 20-22.

Cal Poly captured the title at last year’s competition, and the team is eager to clinch another victory this year.

In April, the 2024 secured first place at the regional Pacific Southwest ASCE Student Symposium in Honolulu, Hawaii, earning a spot in the Utah championship.

Donors and supporters help make it possible for the Cal Poly Concrete Canoe team to attend the competition, providing funding for registration fees, travel expenses and more. You can support the team directly here

The ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition provides students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on practical experience while testing their skills with concrete mix designs and project management challenges.
