The next round of Pathways internship opportunities will open on Feb. 26 and close on March 1.
All Pathways vacancies are posted on USAJOBs. The vacancies will not appear until they open on Feb. 26, but you can prepare ahead of time! To begin the process, follow these steps:
Do your research. Learn about the type of work performed at each of our NASA facilities so that you’ll be able to find where you’d best fit at NASA based on your academic and career interests. Visit nasa.gov/centers-and-facilities for more information.
Prepare your application. Visit USAJobs.gov to create your profile, build your resume and set up a notification that will alert you when our positions open. (TIP: To search for jobs even when you’re not online, click the “Saved Searches” function on USAJOBs. Saved searches will automatically search for jobs based on your criteria and email you when there are new jobs available.)
Apply to a vacancy during the open application window. Be sure to apply to the vacancy that corresponds to your academic major. In your application, you’ll also need to identify which NASA center locations you’re applying to.
After submitting an application, students may be asked via email to complete an online assessment. Learn more about the assessment process at http://tinyurl.com/4x7dsk8v.
There will be a virtual information session on Feb. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. Students will have the chance to learn more about the Pathways Internship Program and ask question. Register at http://tinyurl.com/6shwh8xf.
