Division of Research Seeking Half-Time Faculty Fellow

The Division of Research is seeking applications for a half-time faculty fellow.

This position will work under the leadership of Dr. Dawn Neill, Interim Vice President of Research, and collaborate with Division of Research staff to support Teacher-Scholar initiatives.

More tasks include:

  • Help build a thriving culture of scholarship where faculty engage students in high-impact learning opportunities through basic and applied research that addresses meaningful problems and issues that are important to industry, government, and
    communities.
  • Provide leadership and implementation for obtaining proposals, and assist in the review of proposals received for Division of Research internal funding programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies related to: 1) support for faculty conducting research, scholarly, and creative activities; 2) distribution of unallocated F&A; and 3) establishing and overseeing Centers and Institutes.

  • Assist in the development and analysis of a campus-wide survey assessing research needs and barriers (experience with survey design and data analysis is required).
  • Help faculty develop skills and tools needed to build robust research programs.
  • Benchmark research output and impact.
  • Identify and liaise with campus subject matter experts.
