The next CENG scholarship seminar will be in the ATL on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 11:10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The College of Engineering is hosting a scholarship seminar once a month. The idea of this event is to have a venue for faculty and students to share current projects or project ideas with people from across the college in the hopes of generating some participation or collaboration in scholarly activities. Each month, three members of the College of Engineering community will give informal presentations about their current or aspiring scholarly activities. This month, all of our speakers are recipients of last year’s DEI funding from the Dean’s Innovation Fund to support new tenure-track hires’ scholarly efforts in justice, diversity, equity and inclusion. Our speakers will be:
Dr. Jill Speece and students, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering
Dr. Sumona Mukhopadhyay, Computer Science & Software Engineering and Computer Engineering
Dr. Javier Gonzalez Sanchez, Computer Science & Software Engineering and Computer Engineering
Feel free to bring your own lunch to eat during the talks. We will also provide light snacks! Come join us!
