The NASA STEM Gateway is a semester internship opportunity, with the Summer 2023 session deadline of March 10, 2023. This opportunity allows for the prospective intern to apply to a specific project, at a specific center, and has options for both in-person and remote-only participation.
The NASA Pathways Intern Employment Program is also open right now, though the deadline for this next round of hiring ends this Friday (2/10). This is the same program that I was accepted to my junior year at Cal Poly, which ended up landing me a full time federal job at NASA Johnson Space Center upon graduation (I have since transferred to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center). This is the primary path into the NASA federal workforce, so if there are any students passionate about joining NASA after graduation, this is the program to pursue.
