The Cal Poly Society of Women Engineers chapter was honored with the Outstanding Outreach Event Award from the National SWE organization. This honor is part of the annual SWE Local Awards Program, which honors local chapters for their excellence in a variety of categories.
Women Engineers strives to advance and tribute the contributions of women at all stages of their careers and recognize the successes of SWE members and individuals who enhance the engineering profession through contributions to the industry, education and the community.
The Local Awards provide additional opportunities to recognize outstanding SWE members, SWE groups and individuals.
