UCSC Graduate School Info Session for Computing Majors + Potential Senior/Research Project Collaborations
Wednesday October 19th 12:10-1 pm on Zoom.
This event is intended for computing related majors. A few faculty members from UCSC’s Baskin School of Engineering will talk about their current research projects and discuss potential opportunities for Cal Poly faculty and students to work on these projects. They will also discuss the graduate programs offered through the School and the application process for applying to graduate school at UCSC.

Alex Englander, the Assistant Director for Graduate Admissions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) will give a presentation called “Strategies for Competitive Graduate Applications in STEM Fields” followed by a Q&A. Pizza will be served and any student who attends will receive a fee waiver for their graduate application to RPI. RPI offers graduate programs in a variety of fields including (but not limited to) Critical Game Design, Electronic Arts, Engineering Physics, and Economics.
