The Women’s & Gender Studies Department is accepting scholarship applications for the 2022-23 academic year! Take these steps now to make sure you are considered.
By Friday 4/22: Complete the Cal Poly Scholarships Application on the Cal Poly Portal.
Make sure to check one or more of the following three boxes to indicate your interest in being considered for WGSScholarships:
- In the university-wide list, check the box that reads “Demonstrated interest in and commitments to women’s and gender equity and rights through community service, related group activities, and/or leadership efforts.”
- In the CENG list, check the box that reads “Demonstrated interest in and commitments to diversity and equity via leadership efforts, especially in organizations that promote women’s rights.”
- In the CSM list, check the box that reads “Major in the College of Science and Mathematics with current contributions to community service, especially in relation to women’s and gender equity.”
In addition, when prompted to do so, make sure to include the name and email contact for academic/professional references
in your scholarship application.
