The Mustang Success Center’s athletic academic advising unit is currently recruiting to fill multiple academic coaching (AC) positions for the upcoming academic year. The attached job description below has more details and a preferred hiring timeline (we will keep the position open until we reach our ideal number of AC’s for 2022-2023). Most AC’s work anywhere from 3-5 hours/week and are paid $15/hour. They have the opportunity to practice their academic mentoring skills and techniques with an assigned caseload of first-time freshmen and/or transfer student-athletes and are trained to provide support and guidance to this diverse population of students as they navigate their first year at Cal Poly. Any interested applicants can contact Louise Torgerson (ltorgers@calpoly.edu) with questions.
