Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan: A dialogue for engagement and understanding of women’s lives (at risk)

Please join the Cal Poly International Center and campus community in celebrating International Women’s Day, with a virtual presentation on March 8 from 5:10-6:00pm with guest speaker and Cal Poly Professor Emerita, Maliha Zulfacar, Ph.D. and moderator Cal Poly Professor, Dawn Neill, Ph.D. 

The presentation is titled: ‘Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan: A dialogue for engagement and understanding of women’s lives (at risk).’ Dr. Zulfacar co-produced and co-directed a documentary titled Kabul Transit that can be viewed by the campus community via this link to the Cal Poly Library. We are pleased to co-sponsor the talk with the College of Liberal Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Women’s, Gender & Queer Studies, and the Men and Masculinities Program.
