College of Engineering Intro to Equitable and Inclusive Teaching

Spring quarter, with sponsorship from the College of Engineering Dean’s Office, the CTLT will offer the Intro to Equitable and Inclusive Teaching workshop for a cohort of up to 15 faculty from the college.

Introduction to Equitable and Inclusive Teaching is an introductory workshop that will familiarize faculty with evidence-based teaching strategies for equity and inclusion, support faculty in developing an inclusive course climate, encourage faculty to reflect on the impacts of social identities in higher education teaching and learning environments, and support faculty in further developing an equitable and inclusive teaching lens. Participating in this program is a way for faculty to contribute in concrete and powerful ways to the goals of making Cal Poly more equitable and inclusive. Apply here to express interest in participating in this college-specific cohort.
