Cal Poly in Rome: Software Engineering (Fall 2021) was led by Professor Davide Falessi, and was an exciting opportunity for Cal Poly STEM students to spend 10 weeks living in Italy during the fall 2021 quarter while making progress towards their major requirements.
Through this innovative new program, students took two software engineering courses sequentially (CSC-308 and -309), plus a 4-unit Italian language course, earning a total of 12 Cal Poly units. Student lived in apartments in the Trastevere area of Rome, and took classes at the AIA Rome Center.
