Become a Resident Director for the CSU International Programs

Student and professor in lab — Environmental engineering professor Amro El Badawy works with civil engineering student Adam Monroe on conducting undergraduate research using nanoparticles to detect microbes in drinking water. The project was part of the new Partners Scholars program which pairs freshmen civil and environmental engineering students with faculty research projects. This year, 13 students received a $500 stipend to work directly with faculty members that are addressing real-world issues.

Cal Poly faculty are encouraged to apply to serve as Resident Director for the CSU International Programs in France, Italy, and Spain during the 2023-2024 academic year.

This is a wonderful opportunity for qualified CSU faculty members to spend a year facilitating the study abroad experience of our own CSU students. Faculty fluent in Spanish, Italian, or French who support undergraduate opportunities for study abroad are particularly encouraged to apply.
