It is award nomination season for the College of Engineering. Below you will find a link to the nomination surveys for the each of the College of Engineering awards. Nomination criteria, and detailed instructions are held within the survey itself. Please complete your nominations by Monday, May 17 at 5pm.
“College of Engineering Diversity and Inclusion Award”
This award gives you the opportunity to identify individuals in the College of Engineering that have a demonstrated record of creating, implementing or serving programs which support a diverse and inclusive culture within the College.
Please take a few moments to help us recognize our faculty, staff and students that embrace and support Cal Poly’s efforts toward a more inclusive and diverse campus climate. This survey allows you to submit multiple nominations. Just submit each nomination separately by hitting the “done” button and then reopening the link provided.

“Don and Paula Heye Annual Award for Outstanding Club Advisor”
This award is intended to recognize and honor the meritorious efforts of an individual in the College of Engineering who provides exemplary service to students through club advising.

“Don and Paula Heye Annual Award for Outstanding Teaching”
This award is intended to recognize and honor the meritorious efforts of an individual in the College of Engineering who provides exemplary service to students through teaching.

“Lockheed Endowed Professorship”
The purpose of the Lockheed Professorship is to provide time and resources for professional growth and development to enrich the educational experiences of Cal Poly students. It is intended to foster long-term relations between faculty and outside sponsors so that benefits generated by the endowment can be multiplied many times over. The Lockheed Endowed Professorship normally invests the faculty for a two-year period.

“Northrop Grumman Excellence in Teaching Award”
Nominate an outstanding early-career professor who exemplifies the Cal Poly tradition of excellence in teaching.

“Raytheon Excellence in Teaching & Applied Research Award”
This award is intended for College of Engineering faculty members who contribute meaningfully to student success through a wide range of academic efforts. The award is meant to recognize an outstanding professor who demonstrates excellence in teaching and applied research following the longstanding traditions of Cal Poly.
