Apple Latinx Exchange

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has partnered with Apple to bring engaging and varied experiences to college students. We are pleased to share that Apple will be hosting a career panel discussion on April 28, 2021, titled Latinx Exchange. The panel, offered by their employee resource group Amigos@Apple, is open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing a technology career. Please help us promote this event on your campus and forward this message to the related academic departments to amplify promotions of this event.

The Latinx Exchange provides a forum for Apple Latinx employees to share their respective stories and offer advice to students in the early stages of their professional careers as they speak of the infinite possibilities in the world of technology. Software engineers who work for the Apple Cloud Services (ACS) organization will discuss challenges and inspirations as members of the tech field. The Apple Cloud Services team is responsible for crafting systems for Apple services such as iCloud, iTunes, Siri, Maps, and Apple’s software developers take great pride in providing user-friendly products.

Students who would like to learn more about applying to work at Apple, will have the opportunity to speak with recruiters from the Apple Cloud Services team, and receive guidance in Apple’s hiring process. Additionally, students will hear about the importance of diversity and inclusion from Apple’s Latinx employees, and learn how commitment to this mission makes it  one of the top technology companies in the nation.

The Latinx Exchange is scheduled to take place on April 28 at 2:00 p.m. PDT. The deadline to register is April 21. For the link to register, click here. Apple will send additional event details to each student upon their confirmation.
