Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL) will be presenting to Cal Poly students. The presentation will highlight Data Centers, buildings that store computers that store and process data.

All CENG majors are welcome.

Lawrence Livermore National Lab is a Department of Energy
research facility tasked with the safety and security of the
nuclear stockpile. The Lab pursues an array of science and engineering
initiatives, aided by technology like the world’s second-fastest computer and the National Ignition Facility, the world’s most powerful laser.
LLNL engineers are noted for cross-disciplinary agility in
fields from bioscience to nanotechnology.
