CPConnect:
The Cal Poly Interdisciplinary Projects Program (CPConnect) facilitates funding partnerships for interdisciplinary projects with Cal Poly faculty and students. Our mission is to provide a link between donors and resources that are available at Cal Poly to ensure that projects are properly funded and have the technical expertise required for successful completion.
Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, this RFP is limited to submissions by Cal Poly College of Engineering faculty and staff only, in support of approved F2F classes. Project proposals will be reviewed by the committee and selected based on a scoring rubric. The scoring rubric can be found at the end of the RFP. Note that the criteria are the same as in prior competitions, but the expectations of multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary activities are reduced this year due to the limitation of F2F classes. Submission Deadline is Feb 5.
R-IDC:
These funds support research and scholarly efforts of faculty specifically aimed at developing, conducting, and maintaining externally sponsored projects involving students. Acceptable project types and submission guidelines are included in the RFP, available here. Submission Deadline is Feb 12.
