Society of Women Engineers Sweep WE20 Competition

Last weekend, the Society of Women Engineers participated virtually in the WE20 conference, the world’s largest conference for women engineers. Along with winning first place in the Boeing Team Tech competition for their project Standardized Wheelchair for Ride Integration, they won the Boeing Multicultural Award and Valerie Kettering (2019-2020 president) received the Outstanding Collegiate Member Award.

  • Mission Award: Best Practice – Global
  • Mission Award: Best Practice – Public Policy
  • Mission Award: Best Practice – Mentoring
  • Mission Award: Collegiate Gold 
  • Boeing Multicultural Award
  • Boeing Team Tech Competition – 1st Place 
    • Project Title: Standardized Wheelchair for Ride Integration, sponsored by Universal Studios 
  • Outstanding Collegiate Member awarded to Valerie Kettering (2019-2020 president)
