As we kick off our efforts this year to impact the College culture around issues of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) we want to take the recommendation of the committee from last academic year and take an ACTION based approach. Therefore, the JEDI Committee is being asked to take on and start implementation of the recommendations made last year with the full support of the Dean’s Office.
Visit the JEDI Committee Interest Form to look through the projects assigned to each working group and indicate projects you would be interested in working on. Remember, we don’t expect to complete or implement all off the projects listed below, and all the projects will require a small team to implement. The goal is to start making progress on these recommendations by working collaboratively. As we start to gauge interest in these different projects we will also develop a model to support those working on these projects. For the purposes of this survey, please assume you can commit 1-3 hours per week on these projects.
