New Assembly Line Lab Teaches Workflow Management

Hands-on Volume Assembly Lab for IME 223: Professors Ginni Callow and Karen Bangs, IME students Brandon White and Todd Altshuler.

A new assembly line lab in the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department will help students learn some of the basics of workflow measurement. 

The lab, complete with work stations, barcode sensors and a conveyor belt, was designed and built by IME students Todd Altshuler and Brandon White, working with faculty members Ginna Callow and Karen Bangs.
