Professor Kristen Cardinal wrapped up another successful year of MEDITEC projects, with 15 projects, involving 47 students from throughout the College of Engineering. The MEDITEC program brings industry-sponsored projects from the biomedical device industry to campus, for students to work on during the academic year. This year’s projects came from Edwards Lifesciences and Stryker Neuorvascular, and included students from BMED, ME, IE and EE. Professor Cardinal took 11 teams to Irvine to present their project outcomes to Edwards on June 3rd, and four teams to Fremont to present their projects to Stryker on June 4th.
