Well-Being Update

Upcoming event graphic

There are many links between well-being and workplace productivity. For example, research suggests insufficient sleep leads to a host of negative workplace effects, including workplace deviance, unethical behavior, a lack of helpfulness, and negative effects on the leader/employee relationship.

For information on sleep and other aspects of self-care, review the resources on mylifematters.com.

Upcoming Workshops for Leaders

  • Boosting Staff Morale – From time to time, you may find your team dealing with low morale. This workshop will help managers recognize and address low staff morale. • Emotional Trauma – Following a traumatic event, the common response is to want things to go back to normal. It may take a while to readjust. Content includes ways to connect with yourself and others, breaking out of the isolation that can follow and, as a manager, the importance of your availability, understanding where your team is on the shock-acceptance grid, and how to engage and understand the emotional landscape. Oct. 18 at 2 p.m.
