The Cal Poly Annual Giving team wants to personally invite you to apply for a crowdfund project for a chance to be selected for this year’s Poly Gives Crowdfund Cohort! Projects will run from April 9 to May 9, and the application deadline is Feb. 28. Here is the link to apply: Crowdfund Application.
This is a great opportunity for student clubs and organizations to raise funds for any upcoming conference, event, national competition or special project — so apply today! The launch date of the Poly Gives cohort lines up with Open House weekend, so this is a great time to get your members involved in fundraising if your organization is planning to participate in Open House.
Plan to fundraise in advance. Funds from crowdfund projects might take four to six weeks to be deposited into your account, and applications submitted after Feb. 28 will be considered for our May Crowdfund cohort. Additionally, projects selected for the Poly Gives crowdfund cohort will be invited to attend our crowdfund webinar hosted on Zoom on Thursday, March 5, at 11 a.m. to learn more about preparing to host a project.
