Attend the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Summer Student Symposium and Recruiter Meet and Greet

Engineering Building 192

College of Engineering students and faculty: Please join us from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 in 192-121 for a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Summer Student Symposium and Recruiter Meet & Greet! During the first hour from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., we will have students who were interns at LLNL this past summer give short presentations on their project work (about five minutes per student). Following this, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., we will have time to talk with recruiters from LLNL.

Students – Come see what kinds of projects you might be a part of if you are interested in an internship at LLNL. Ask general questions about the internship experience, working at the lab, housing, etc. Students from all across CENG will be presenting. In addition, take the opportunity to talk to recruiters before the Fall Career Fair and ask your questions about internships and job opportunities. Use this as a chance to prepare for the career fair and to learn more about the internship and job application process. Internship application deadlines will be coming up soon!

Faculty – Come see what projects students across the college work on while at LLNL. Maybe there is a topic that interests you that can lead to a connection with an LLNL scientist or engineer. Perhaps a student has the skills you are looking for to help with a project here on campus. Network with LLNL recruiters and find out more about potential faculty interactions and opportunities at the Lab.

You are encouraged to stop by for any and all of the event. Please come out to support our students and LLNL.
