Would you like to join a community of like-minded professionals committed to improving our national engineering landscape? If so, we encourage you to apply to stEm (E to emphasize engineering) PEER (Practitioners Enhancing Engineering Regionally) Academy.
stEm PEER Fellows will engage in a 2+ year professional development and research experience to support the design and implementation of an engineering-focused project at their home institutions.
PEERs will have the opportunity to learn and engage with program experts, researchers, and practitioners. Throughout the two-year engagement, participants will deepen their knowledge and understanding of the challenges and successful strategies guiding the transformation of our national engineering and engineering technology landscape. PEERs will utilize data and assessment to develop an Action Plan that will inform them of their specific efforts implementation efforts at their respective institutions and beyond. PEERS will also be guided and supported to submit project outcomes as publications to ASEE and other national networks. If accepted, each participant will receive a $1,000 stipend to support their participation in the Summer Virtual Institute and to continue their professional development over the following two years. Additional funding will be available for travel to future conferences to support the presentation of program efforts.
