Are you interested in learning health systems, predictive models and healthcare blockchains? Have they thought about graduate school? If so, apply for the Summer Training Academy for Research Success (STARS) undergraduate research program at UC San Diego for summer 2025.
We have five faculty mentors and research projects with the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI).
Through the UCSD STARS program, students will:
· Gain research experience with a faculty mentor’s research project
· Attend graduate school preparation workshops
· Present research at the UC San Diego Summer Research Conference
· Be provided housing, transportation to and from UC San Diego, and a stipend of $4,000
The STARS program is June 22 to Aug. 15, 2025. Apply by the priority deadline (Feb. 10, 2025 at 12 p.m.) and select DBMI faculty mentors.
