This summer CSUPERB will be hosting the CSU I-Corps 2020 August Sprint. This workshop will be from Aug 3-14, 2020 and the Call for Teams is currently open. Since many labs are shutdown, consider this opportunity as a way to keep your students, faculty and staff engaged in a transformative learning experience.

CSU I-Corps is an immersive, entrepreneurship education program for CSU researchers. With funding from NSF, CSU I-Corps participants learn about commercialization of their life sciences research, including opportunities in biotechnology, pharmacology, marine technology, agricultural technology, and related areas. Participants will learn about intellectual property and lean start-up approaches, will grow their professional networks, and explore entrepreneurial opportunities that build on their research. Teams are eligible to win a $1,000 microgrant to help advance research-based ideas and potential follow-on funding of $50,000 from the NSF National I-Corps program. Students gain experience that is highly valued by graduate schools and life science industry employers.
