CSU Student Research/Creative Activity Competition

Each year, Cal Poly hosts an internal student research/creative activity competition to select 10 projects to represent the university at the CSU-wide Student Research Competition.

Submissions to participate in the Cal Poly internal competition are due Monday, Dec. 16. Current undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni (who have graduated or will graduate in 2024) are eligible to apply.

The internal student research/creative activity competition will occur Feb. 21 to Feb. 23 in person at Cal Poly.

The CSU-wide Student Research Competition will be hosted at Cal Poly Humboldt April 25-26. All travel expenses will be covered.

Students/alums who compete in the CSU-wide Student Research Competition in April can win $500 for first place and $250 for second place recognition in their session.
