Join a CENG Mentoring Quad
We are inviting faculty to participate in the College of Engineering Mentoring Quad Program.
The program brings faculty together in groups of four (with at least one new faculty member per group), connecting colleagues both within and beyond their home departments and across years of service at Cal Poly. Each quad will meet three times per term over coffee, lunch, a walk or virtually, with the goal of fostering community and peer support across the college.
Mentoring Quads are an informal opportunity to:
- Connect with colleagues across departments
- Share strategies for balancing research, teaching, and service
- Learn from one another’s experiences
- Build cross-disciplinary mentoring relationships and potential collaborations
If you are interested in participating, please complete this short survey, which also includes a scheduling poll. For those of you who participated in our quad program in past years, you can also request to stay with your existing quad.
