Interested in engineering education research? Want to study the effectiveness of Cal Poly EPIC outreach labs? Want to get paid to do summer research with undergraduate students?

Become an EPIC + SURP faculty mentor! Note, although this program is related to EPIC and SURP, it is its own program. Participation in the College’s SURP program and/or participation in the College’s EPIC program is not required to participate in this EPIC+SURP program.  

Benefits of participating:

  • $750/student compensation
  • Results publishable at regional or national engineering education conferences
  • Work directly with undergraduate students

Sample project ideas and faculty mentoring are available upon request.
