Your Path Through Aerospace

Learn the Systems Behind Flight

Our courses, design work and labs bring the science of flight and space into focus. Study aerodynamics, propulsion, structures and flight systems as you learn how complex systems work together.

Undergraduate Program

Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering

Build the knowledge to design aircraft and spacecraft through courses in aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, flight mechanics and more. Your studies culminate in a senior design capstone, where you work with a team to develop an aircraft or spacecraft concept.

Choose the Direction That Fits You

Choose a concentration that matches the systems you want to understand, or continue into graduate study through the blended program. Each path gives you room to shape what comes next.

Aeronautics Concentration

Focus on the systems that keep aircraft in the air. Study aerodynamics, flight performance, propulsion, dynamics and control, wind-tunnel testing and aircraft design.

Discover the Aeronautics Focus

Astronautics Concentration

Focus on the systems that operate beyond Earth. Study orbital mechanics, space environments, spacecraft propulsion, attitude dynamics and control, power, communications and design.

Where Engineering Happens

Our department’s labs give you room to move beyond equations. Test aerodynamic performance in the Low Speed Wind Tunnel, work with propulsion systems, analyze composite structures and use space-environment facilities to test components. These spaces put your design decisions in front of real data.
