Propulsion Lab

Coordinator: Dr. Dianne DeTurris With labs in turbine engine-performance and solid and hybrid rocket nozzle design, students get a hands-on experience in propulsion techniques for both air and space vehicles.
Equipment: Helicopter turbine engine, solid/hybrid rocket motor test stand, bi-propellant rocket motor test stand, two outdoor test stands used by rocketry clubs, reinforced control room for experiment observation
