Victor Glover Mission: Learn by Doing

New launch date: Sun., Nov. 15 at 4:29 p.m. PST.

Our very own Cmdr. Victor J. Glover (General Engineering, ’99) will be launching into space as the pilot of the SpaceX Crew Dragon. Glover, a Cal Poly-trained engineer, active-duty Navy aviator and NASA astronaut, will spend six months aboard the International Space Station.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, you’re invited to join us at 3:30 p.m. PST for All Systems Go: A Pre-Launch Virtual Panel Discussion, featuring faculty and students from the College of Engineering who will discuss the impact of this historic launch.

The Cal Poly College of Engineering understands there has been an enormous amount of turmoil and transition due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). As we continue offering support to our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends, we also continue providing critical updates as well as college highlights.
