In March, the Cal Poly Bike Builders Club traveled to Sacramento to present a club project at the North American Handmade Bike Show (NAHBS) where they won the Titanium Joe Award for their downhill mountain bike, which was featured on a popular mountain biking website, PinkBike.
The club is a group of students with a passion for designing and manufacturing bicycles from scratch. Whether you are a welder, artist, engineer or bike fan, the club covers everything from design software, to mitering joints and welding frames under the guidance of experienced club members.
