Perhaps you're a prospective student or a current student — or maybe you're an alum or friend of Cal Poly — whomever you are, Open House welcomes you! Previously known as Poly Royal, this special three-day event continues to provide an opportunity for the campus community to open its doors to the public and showcase the talents and accomplishments of our vibrant student population.

Cal Poly Open House Events

Cal Poly offers a variety of Open House activities such as a Rodeo, Casino Night, Poly Royal Parade, Carnival, and musical events. For more information, visit the Cal Poly Open House website.

“It's important to get young students, especially girls, interested in engineering as a career.”

With some of the money I received from a scholarship, I purchased materials for a program I’ve started with other Poly students. The program is called Science, Engineering and Technology in Elementary Schools — we're working with fourth-graders. Hopefully, we will inspire a future generation of Cal Poly engineers.
