Contact: Marissa Brummit Event Advisory: Central Coast Space DayFree and open to the public and the media, the event is intended for children and adults of all ages, who have an interest in space and rocketry. A workshop on aerospace-related classroom activities is especially designed for K-6 teachers. 
Who: Sponsored by Raytheon, the event is hosted by the Cal Poly Engineering, Cal Poly CubeSat Program, the California Space Authority, the Central Coast Science Project, and the Center for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Education. What: This new event includes an Aerospace Expo as well as two exciting speakers, including a former astronaut and a representative from Vandenberg Air Force Base. The Aero Expo will highlight aerospace-related clubs, local aerospace groups, and Central Coast aerospace companies.
